ASAE Welcomes Dubai Association Center as New Event Partner

WASHINGTON—ASAE announces Dubai Association Center has joined ASAE’s group of Alliance Partners in the Event Partner category. The Dubai Association Center is a collaboration of three partners including Dubai Chamber, Dubai World Trade Center, and the Department for Tourism and Commerce Marketing. As part of their partnership, ASAE’s Key Global Association Committee will visit Dubai this spring, and it will participate in the Global Perspectives Session at the 2014 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Nashville.

“This partnership with Dubai Association Center provides ASAE members a chance to learn and understand about a different culture, new destinations, and how associations work internationally,” said ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham IV, FASAE, CAE. “This comes at an important time for the association community because ASAE and its members are increasing their outreach on a global level.”

The Alliance Partnership program was developed to provide the industry partner community with opportunities to align itself with ASAE and the association sector through customized marketing platforms. It also offers partners the chance to help build and maintain year-round relationships with ASAE members and the nonprofit community across the globe.

“We are very excited about the partnership with ASAE, and the opportunity it represents for increased engagement with their membership,” said Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry President & CEO H.E. Hamad Buamim. “Our goal is to create greater awareness among association executives about the many advantages of doing business in Dubai, especially in the wake of the Emirate winning the opportunity to host Expo 2020. We believe the partnership will assist us in promoting Dubai more vigorously to ASAE members.”
